Este domingo 05 de enero, se celebró la gala de premiación de los Globos de Oro 2025, en la que se reconoció a lo mejor del cine y la televisión, la misma que tuvo como protagonistas producciones como Shogun, Emilia Perez y The Brutalist.
La película de Netflix, cuestionada en Latinoamericana por considerar que no es una buena representación ni interpretación de México, alzó premios en categorías como Mejor Película comedia o musical, Mejor Actriz de Reparto y Mejor Canción. En Tanto, Shogun remarcó su liderazgo al ganar categorías como Mejor Serie Drama, Mejor Actriz de una Serie Drama, Mejor Actor de una Serie Drama y Mejor Actor de Reparto en una Serie Drama.
Por otro lado, Adrien Brody y The Brutalist alzaron los premios a Mejor Película de Drama y Mejor Actor de Drama, perfilándose como los favoritos a los esperados Premios Oscar. Lo mismo con la brasileña Fernanda Torres por I’m Still Here y Demi Moore, por La Sustancia, actrices que ganaron los premios a Mejor Actriz de Drama y Mejor Actriz de Comedia o Musical, convirtiéndose en las favoritas para los premios de la Academia.
